My neighborhood trail, even before the Greenway. Lovely, secluded spot in the Southwest Roanoke neighborhood I grew up in that is still our Valley's best kept secret!

Park has a secret garden feel and you can’t help but feel like you are in the wilderness. I saw woodpeckers, various songbirds, a rabbit(!), and lots of jasmine. The trail is heavily wooded, about 1/3 mile in length w easy parking. No signage, though. 🤔

I take my cousin there a lot and she loves it and so do I. I also take the dog and he loves it too.W i went to take her there today however it was torn down. Why? Is there a new one being built in its place?

Nice walking trails, not crowded. Trails in woods are shady and cool. Playgrounds for smaller children. Water fountain and restrooms as well. Picnic tables and a shelter. Will walk the trails again.

A little bit of the wild for everyone to enjoy. Hard to say what you may see on your walk or run through the wooded area.
